Family chalet in Tarentaise
The owners came to meet us at the boutique initially to look for decorative accessories for their chalet.
Over the years, we’ve built up a trusting relationship and worked together on a decorating project involving the design and production of curtains, as well as advising on the choice of fabrics. On this occasion, we were able to determine together the guidelines for a decoration that was both warm and contemporary.
The owners were very precise in their decorative choices, which enabled us to create individual atmospheres for each of the living spaces, especially the bedrooms, which were treated as independent units.
The spacious living area has been treated in two complementary ways, both to separate the spaces and to establish a link, like a common thread, thanks to the woollen fabric used for the curtains and plaids, enhanced by two colors, navy and rust, used for the cushions, the details on the plaids and the tiebacks on all the curtains.
The aim was to achieve overall coherence, and this was achieved through the choice of textile materials selected for the project, notably from Dedar Milano and Bisson Bruneel.
The result is a chalet in the image of the owners, full of elegance and refinement, while retaining a spirit reflecting the art of mountain living.
